Karen Spencer

Karen Spencer has been passionate about animals all her life, from being the neighborhood dog walker and taking home strays as a child, to volunteering at shelters. She knew she always wanted to work with animals and began following her interest at a veterinary hospital as a receptionist. The veterinarian recognized her hard work and dedication and encouraged her to become a veterinary technician. She soon realized she wanted to do more to help people prevent behavior problems with their dogs and enrolled in Animal Behavior College’s Professional Dog Trainer program. As a graduate, Karen’s passion lies in helping people and their pets have a life together that's full of happiness and joy. Karen is an ABC Certified Dog Trainer and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.  She continues her professional development by working with other training professionals, attending educational opportunities, and keeping up to date on industry studies.  Karen enjoys spending time with her dogs Shaianne, Skylar, and Sadie Mae.

Laura Mazzola

Laura Mazzola began her career in the animal world volunteering at shelters and working with Pug Rescue groups. As a child, she suffered a dog bite from a friend’s dog and was always a bit cautious of dogs after that experience.  She now uses her knowledge of dog communication to help others understand when their dogs are uncomfortable and how to resolve issues before they lead to bites. Laura and her Pugs, Augie and Stella, host Pug Meetups and other creative Pug related outings.  Laura also takes amazing dog/pet photographs that always make us smile.  Laura is an ABC Certified Dog Trainer, Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified, member of the Pet Professional Guild, and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She continues to expand  her experience working with other training professionals, attending educational opportunities, and volunteering in local shelters.

Sam Bronsord

Sam Bronsord’s childhood passion for animals prompted him to work in the pet sitting, dog walking, and pet retail industries while also volunteering at local shelters.  His experience in dog shelters opened his eyes to how many dogs are surrendered for treatable issues, and his own adopted Border Collie mix, Mack, came to him with both a severe physical injury and high level fear and anxiety. Sam hopes to teach people it is possible to overcome obstacles and to reap invaluable rewards, as he has with every small victory he and Mack have achieved together. Sam is an ABC Certified Dog Trainer and is continuing his education through Animal Behavior College with additional courses, as well as seeking Red Cross Pet First Aid Certification and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator status.
